So for the next month, my study priorities are shifting.
This is mostly due to the Japanese Proficiency Test (能力試験)that I am taking in Chicago next month.
In preparation, it looks like I will be studying 3+ hours a day (if at all possible). Content for the test includes 5,000 words of vocabulary, including both the Japanese reading and the meaning for each kanji, in addition to many grammar points. While it's true that I am only taking the second highest level, the test is administered only once a year, and I want to get good results (not fail).
So about my current class load: While I am still too much of a school nerd to forget about getting A's, I am clever enough to note that there are no real tests until Finals week, and thus I need not REALLY put too much effort in until after this Japanese test, aside from homework and labwork. Thankfully, I did pretty well on midterm exams.
In theory I should have plenty of time to study. Though I realize that even with just classes, I have little free time. I haven't even played videogames really since the first week of school, and I wonder where that time went.
I have never really focused on studying for a test in this way before. We shall see whether I actually have what it takes to put such time and effort into something.
There are many words that I don't know. Here we go! Yay for learning!

This is my fifth year, however...
I'm not going to be able to graduate this spring. Actually, I'll be lucky to finish next fall actually, depending on how much extra I need for a double major, and whether I can satisfy my 'cultural diversity' requirement. yeah.

I've picked up studying Japanese again, due to monolinguistic frustration. I have a few books and teaching materials I've scavenged over the years. Though, I never finished the Pimsleur Japanese series. I was going to pick up a copy, but man are they expensive. Good stuff, though.
